Uniswap is a popular decentralized, non-custodial exchange. There are no order books – no bids, no asks, no unfulfilled offers. You simply select the amount of tokens you wish to exchange for Ether and the system automatically provides you with the current market rate depending upon the ratio of ETH and BFT present in the pool.

How to Purchase BFT on Uniswap Exchange

1. Install MetaMask – if you don’t already have a browser wallet, we recommend using MetaMask wallet. You will need to also deposit Ether into your wallet in order to buy BFT on Uniswap. Click here to learn more about Metamask Wallet.
2. Go to Uniswap – once you have your wallet ready to go with ETH, go to https://Uniswap.org
3. Click on “Launch App” which will then take you to https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap
4. Click on “Connect Wallet” and connect your Metamask or any other wallet.
5. You will see the dialogue box with ETH above and below that click “select a token” and paste the BFT smart contract address in the field: 0x01ff50f8b7f74e4f00580d9596cd3d0d6d6e326f
6. Click add BFT – the BFT ticker symbol will appear. Select it. Please double-check that the address is correct, with that you can verify that you’re trading the correct token.
7. Input Purchase Amount – enter how much BFT you’d like to purchase. You can either enter the ETH amount or the BFT amount and it’ll automatically calculate the current rate.
   
8. Click “Swap” – after you have selected the amount of BFT you would like to purchase, go ahead and click “Swap”.
9. Sign Transaction – after you click “Swap,” a MetaMask confirmation window should appear. Go ahead a click “confirm” to sign the transaction.
10. Wait for Confirmation – this may take several minutes to several hours depending on the ETH blockchain transaction volume. However, when all is done, you should receive a confirmation that the transaction was processed and you are now the owner of some BF Tokens.

Warning: Slippage

The BnkToTheFuture Token (BFT) liquidity on Uniswap is currently very sensitive. Any large purchases on Uniswap may result in significant “slippage.” Slippage occurs when the price rises or falls higher than that on other exchanges. Uniswap informs you about the “Price effect” your transaction may have (see below).
