BnkToTheFuture Token (BFT) Price Support Premium on BnkToTheFuture
We recently added the ability to buy BnkToTheFuture Tokens (BFT) on the BnkToTheFuture (BF) platform itself.
Some of the BFT holders and traders expressed their concerns that this feature would, in turn, reduce the demand and the volume of BFT traded on exchanges as many people would directly buy BFT from BnkToTheFuture.
To turn this problem into a solution, we decided to take an innovative approach. We have added the BFT Price Support Premium of 10% for anyone who purchases BFT from the BnkToTheFuture platform. This means, buying BFT on BnkToTheFuture will be ~10% more expensive than buying BFT from an exchange, depending on the volume available of course.
This helps the community in 2 ways:
- It rewards users for buying BFT directly from the exchanges, thus increasing the demand on exchanges and supporting the overall BFT trade volume.
- It helps in supporting BFT liquidity long term. I.e. When the demand for buying BFT increases on BnkToTheFuture platform and when we have already sold all of our BFT (collected as fees on the BF Secondary Market), BnkToTheFuture (BF) would go to the exchanges and buy more BFT to be able to fulfil this demand.
The 10% premium will allow BF to buy on exchanges to fulfil the demand which will in turn help in supporting and improving BFT liquidity.
For example, if the BFT price is $0.10 on the exchanges, with the BFT Price Support Premium, it is being sold for $0.11 on BnkToTheFuture.
When the demand increases on BF, we will be able to purchase all orders up to $0.11 on the exchanges to meet the demand on BnkToTheFuture, thus helping BFT reach $0.11 on the exchanges.
Now with the 10% BFT premium, BFT will be sold for $0.121 on BF which again enables us to buy orders priced up to $0.121 on the exchanges and thus, helping BFT reach $0.121 and so on.
